Membership Rules, Protocol, Nomcenclature, Dues, etc.

The OKNeoAC is an absolute monarchy. H.H. Joan succeeds instantly upon my passing from this vale of tears or reduction to imbecility by a meteorite, or anything of that nature. Daphne succeeds H.H. Joan to the throne, or me, if her mother kicks the bucket before I do. If all three of us bite the dust before any one of us can issue contrary edicts, Sahib Sanford gets the whole shooting match. If he has joined the choir or is manifestly a gibbering idiot, His Grace, Robert Funk, BHG of California and Archon of Alaska is elevated to the throne. If nothing else works, the CBH is elected by majority of the Board of Toads, which consists of all members of the Royal Hoo over M.A. 17, and all BHGs. If this is impossible, a general membership convention may be called to elect a monarch.

There are three classes of membership: upper, middle, and lower. Upper and middle class members subscribe to the three principles of the church as currently formulated. Any open declaration consenting to these doctrines (experience with the greater sacraments is not required) creates automatic middle class membership unless the claimant has been excommunicated, previously resigned, or continues membership in any other religious organization including the Masonic Order, Alcoholics Anonymous, or the Church of Universal Life.

A personal check made out to the OKNeOAC, Art Kleps, Pres., with "membership" or "dues" written in the "memo" space, returned to you cashed by us is the best proof of membership.

Upper class membership can only be attained by application and acceptance of application by the CBH or a boo hoo general, and the same exclusionary rules apply. Only upper class members may be ordained.

Lower class membership is granted to any person who has ever joined under any version of the three principles as formulated by the CBH since 1965, at the time when such versions were active, but the exclusionary rules above apply and no lower class member may be ordained.

The CBH may be addressed as "your highness" or "chief" or "sir," never "Art." Her highness may be addressed as "Ma'am." The same hifalutin formalities must be observed when we are referred to between members, but not to infidels if such usage appears inconvenient. Boo hoo generals make corresponding rules about titles for their vortices and affiliates.

Vortex: OKNeoAC members and clergy governed by a boo hoo general in a geographic area specified by the CBH.

Affiliate: Independent church governed by a boo hoo general which may have any rules but contract with the OKNeoAC to only use NeoA terms and symbols so long as the three current principles of the OKNeoAC are maintained.

Your moral character has no direct bearing on membership. A psychotic serial axe murderer may be a member of the CKNeoAC, just as he might be a Roman Catholic or a Presbyterian. Call for a boo hoo to administer the last sacraments to you in prison prior to your execution. Clergy are almost always defrocked for heresy or actions with injure the Church rather than mere personal peccadillos. A urinalysis negat'ive for psychedelic drugs is grounds for a reprimand.

Membership in affiliates may be secret. Membership in the OKNeoAC is never secret and the use of aliases is not tolerated.
